CPN-UML holding Secretariat meeting today



KATHMANDU: As part of its ongoing organizational and political preparations ahead of key electoral and party milestones, the CPN-UML is holding a meeting of its Secretariat today to review the current political landscape and finalize upcoming agendas.

UML Secretary Bhanubhakta Dhakal said the meeting will focus on the evolving political situation, preparations for the forthcoming elections to the National Assembly (NA) and the House of Representatives (HoR), and organizational arrangements for the party’s second Central Committee meeting.

According to Dhakal, the Secretariat meeting will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur. The second Central Committee meeting of the UML is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from January 11 to 13 and is expected to chart the party’s political and organizational direction in the coming months.
