NEPSE index falls by 11.37 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 11.37 points on Friday, closing at 2,756.41 points.

According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, the sensitive index, which tracks the performance of large-cap companies, also fell by 1.77 points to 471.99.

A total of 12.73 million shares of 351 companies were traded during the day, with transactions amounting to Rs 5.62 billion.

In terms of turnover, Aankhu Khola Hydropower Company topped the list, followed by City Hotel Limited, NBBL Debenture, Central Finance, and Reedy Power Company.

Among the gainers, investors in Kalinchowk Hydropower, Upakar Laghubitta, Laxmi Bank Debenture, West Finance Company, and City Hotel recorded profits.

Meanwhile, investors in ABL Debenture, Hotel Forest Inn, Mabilung Energy, Ridgeline Energy, and Suryakunda Hydropower incurred losses.
