NC to hold Parliamentary Coordination Board meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition in Parliament, is holding a meeting of its Parliamentary Coordination Board today.

Acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal said the meeting is scheduled for this afternoon at the party’s central office in Sanepa.

The NC recently formed the Parliamentary Coordination Board to oversee its legislative activities and strategic planning. Established under the party’s parliamentary statute, the body aims to strengthen coordination and improve the effectiveness of parliamentary functioning.

Within the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Parliamentary Parties Coordination Section facilitates cooperation and provides direct support among political parties.

The formation of the board reflects broader efforts to reinforce parliamentary practices amid recent political developments and new leadership in the House of Representatives.
