Voters cast ballots in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur (In photos)



KATHMANDU: Voting is continuing enthusiastically and largely peacefully across the country, except for a few isolated incidents, during the House of Representatives election on Thursday.

According to the Election Commission Nepal, updates on voter turnout have been received from districts across the country.

Information Officer Suman Ghimire said that around 35 to 40 percent of voters had cast their ballots nationwide as of 2 pm.

Voters were also seen lining up to cast their ballots at various polling centers in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
