RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane confident of historic outcome in election

KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rabi Lamichhane, expressed optimism that the results of the ongoing House of Representatives election would favor his party.

After casting his vote at the polling center in Chuchepati, Kathmandu, Lamichhane told reporters, “The country has reached a pivotal moment in history. We are at the early stage of voting, and I am feeling very positive. Good vibes are coming. I feel a historic outcome is likely.”

He highlighted the significance of the election in the context of the Gen-Z movement, saying the sacrifices made during the movement have made this election particularly meaningful. Lamichhane became emotional while recalling those who lost their lives during the protests.

“This voting comes after the sacrifices of our young brothers and sisters. It is an election for change and a future envisioned by tragic events. Its significance is greater than any previous election, which is why I am also emotional,” he added.

Earlier, Lamichhane visited the Banglamukhi Temple before heading to the polling centre, where he offered prayers to the ballot box after casting his vote.
