Rastriya Swatantra Party chief Rabi Lamichhane heads to Chitwan after recovery

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Ravi Lamichhane is traveling to Chitwan today, marking his first public trip since January 5.

Lamichhane had injured his leg while attending the party’s grand assembly in Janakpur on January 19. The injury worsened over time due to infection, leading to his hospitalization at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on January 27.

He was discharged on January 29 and had been resting at home since then. According to his secretariat member Abinash Acharya, Lamichhane will take a flight from Tribhuvan International Airport to Chitwan shortly.

Acharya added that Lamichhane plans to rest in Chitwan for a few days while meeting well-wishers and supporters, before resuming his nationwide tours once his leg fully recovers.
