Kathmandu Valley minimum temperature dips to 5.4°C



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley dropped below Wednesday’s level early Thursday.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the initial reading taken at 5:45 am showed the minimum temperature in Kathmandu at 5.4 degrees Celsius.

At the same time on Wednesday, the minimum temperature stood at 8 degrees Celsius, although it later fell to 6 degrees Celsius at 8:45 am.

The official minimum temperature for the Kathmandu Valley is recorded at 8:45 am. Meteorologists said the temperature at that time on Thursday is likely to be slightly lower than the early-morning reading.
