Bus hits motorcycle in Kavre, one dead



KAVRE: A young man was killed when a bus hit a motorcycle at Lamidanda in Panchkhal Municipality-4 of Kavrepalanchok along the Araniko Highway.

The accident occurred when a bus (Ba.A. 3 Kha 843) heading from Bahrabise towards Kathmandu collided with a motorcycle (Ba.Pa. 02-030 Pa 8013).

The motorcycle rider, identified as 28-year-old Sushil Ale Magar of Jugal Rural Municipality-5, Sindhupalchok, sustained critical injuries in the crash and died during treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital, police said.

Chief Police Inspector Prashant Tamang of the Panchkhal Police Post said the bus driver has been taken into custody, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
