KATHMANDU: The influence of westerly winds is expected to bring partly cloudy weather to several parts of Nepal, with light rainfall possible in some Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, partial cloud cover is expected in the Himalayan and hilly regions, while mist and fog are likely in the Terai, valleys and gorges.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy across all areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as the Himalayan and hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The weather will remain mainly fair in other areas.
There is also a possibility of light rain at one or two places in the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are expected across Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while the weather will remain mainly fair in the rest of the country.
