PM Karki meets President Paudel on eve of election



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki held a meeting with President Ram Chandra Paudel on Wednesday afternoon.

The meeting took place at Shital Niwas, where the two leaders discussed current political developments.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Karki also briefed the President on preparations for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Thursday.

The government is conducting voting in all 165 constituencies across the country in a single phase.

Authorities have said vote counting for the first-past-the-post category will begin soon after polling concludes, with expectations that results will be available quickly if weather conditions remain favorable.
