KATHMANDU: With winter ending and the pre-monsoon season approaching, temperatures are gradually rising across Nepal.
Today (Wednesday), the initial minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has been recorded at 13.6 degrees Celsius.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the first measurement at 5:45 am showed Kathmandu’s minimum temperature at 13.6°C. By comparison, Tuesday’s early measurement was 10.5°C, with the final reading at 8:45 am being 10.4°C.
Today’s official minimum temperature, measured at 8:45 am, is expected to slightly drop from the initial reading, though it may also remain the same. Although the sky over Kathmandu Valley is cloudy today, no rainfall is expected.
The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures at 8:45 am and 5:45 pm, respectively. Meteorologists explain that the minimum temperature reflects conditions from night to morning, while the maximum indicates daytime conditions.
