Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 144.13, while the selling rate stands at Rs 144.73.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 169.94 and the selling rate at Rs 170.65. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 196.85 and sold at Rs 197.66, while the Swiss franc is trading at a buying rate of Rs 185.25 and a selling rate of Rs 186.02.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 101.01 and the selling rate Rs 101.43. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 105.38 and sold at Rs 105.82, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 113.42 for buying and Rs 113.89 for selling.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.24 and the selling rate Rs 9.28. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.77 and sold at Rs 20.86. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.43 and a selling rate of Rs 38.59, while the Qatari riyal is trading at Rs 39.54 for buying and Rs 39.71 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.57 and the selling rate Rs 4.59. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.24 and sold at Rs 39.41. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 36.65 for buying and Rs 36.80 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.94 and the selling rate Rs 9.98. Likewise, the Swedish kronor is trading at Rs 16.10 for buying and Rs 16.16 for selling, while the Danish kronor has been fixed at Rs 22.75 for buying and Rs 22.85 for selling.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 18.45 and the selling rate at Rs 18.52. Similarly, one Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 471.86 and sold at Rs 473.83, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 382.31 for buying and Rs 383.90 for selling, and the Omani rial at Rs 374.39 for buying and Rs 375.95 for selling. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The exchange rates applied by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
