KATHMANDU: Numan Özcan, Country Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO), has met with Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav to discuss cooperation on employment promotion and labour sector reforms.
According to the Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting was held at the Ministry on Tuesday and focused on strengthening the Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship Centres established across all 753 local levels in Nepal.
The two sides also discussed expanding cooperation on policy and institutional reforms aimed at promoting decent employment opportunities.
The discussions further focused on ensuring the effective implementation of ongoing labour and employment-related programmes in the country.
