PM Balen and NCP leader Barsaman Pun hold meeting



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen) met Nepali Communist Party (NCP) leader Barsaman Pun on Thursday.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting was held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

During the meeting, they discussed the Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa and the ongoing search, rescue, treatment and relief efforts in the affected areas.

They also discussed measures to resume operations of infrastructure damaged by the flood. Earlier, Prime Minister Shah had met Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising. The two discussed the flood and related issues, among other matters.
