RSP holding Secretariat meeting to discuss current issues

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is set to hold a Secretariat meeting today to discuss the latest political and contemporary issues, including the government’s response to the devastating Bhotekoshi floods.

According to RSP spokesperson Jagadish Kharel, the meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at the party’s central office in Banasthali, Kathmandu.

The meeting will be chaired by party president Rabi Lamichhane. Discussions are expected to focus on the August 26 Bhotekoshi flood and its aftermath, along with other issues of current national importance.

The meeting comes as rescue, search and relief operations continue in several flood-affected districts, with a large number of people still reported missing and significant damage to infrastructure and economic activities.

The RSP Secretariat is expected to assess the disaster situation and discuss the party’s position on the government’s ongoing rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts.
