Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for major international and regional currencies for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.66 and the selling rate at Rs 152.26.

Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one euro are Rs 175.49 and Rs 176.18, respectively. The rates for one British pound sterling are Rs 204.51 and Rs 205.31, while those for one Swiss franc are Rs 186.05 and Rs 186.79.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 108.04 and the selling rate is Rs 108.46. Similarly, one Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 108.83 for buying and Rs 109.26 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is set at Rs 119.03 and Rs 119.50, respectively.

For Asian currencies, the buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen are Rs 9.49 and Rs 9.52, respectively. One Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 22.56 and Rs 22.65, while one Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 40.39 and Rs 40.55. One Qatari riyal is valued at Rs 41.60 for buying and Rs 41.77 for selling.

The buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.55 and the selling rate is Rs 4.57. One UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 41.29 and Rs 41.46, while one Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.49 and Rs 37.64.

The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won are Rs 11.10 and Rs 11.14, respectively. One Swedish krona is fixed at Rs 15.69 and Rs 15.75, while one Danish krone is set at Rs 23.48 and Rs 23.57.

For Gulf and other regional currencies, one Hong Kong dollar is fixed at Rs 19.34 for buying and Rs 19.41 for selling. One Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 493.77 and Rs 495.72, while one Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 402.27 and Rs 403.86.

The buying rate for one Omani rial is Rs 393.92 and the selling rate is Rs 395.48. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions. The rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, and updated rates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
