KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.32 and the selling rate at Rs 152.92.
The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.59 and the selling rate at Rs 176.29. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 205.35 and sold at Rs 206.16, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 188.62 and sold at Rs 189.36.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 106.97 and the selling rate at Rs 107.40. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 108.65 and sold at Rs 109.08, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 118.79 and sold at Rs 119.26.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.67 and the selling rate Rs 9.70. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.56 and sold at Rs 22.65. One Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 40.56 and sold at Rs 40.72, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 41.82 and sold at Rs 41.98.
According to NRB, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.56 and sold at Rs 4.58. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.47 and sold at Rs 41.63, while one Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 37.27 and sold at Rs 37.42.
Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.56 and the selling rate at Rs 10.60. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 16.06 and sold at Rs 16.12, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 23.51 and sold at Rs 23.60.
The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 19.42 and the selling rate at Rs 19.50. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 495.03 and sold at Rs 496.98. One Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 403.98 and sold at Rs 405.57, while one Omani rial is being bought at Rs 395.62 and sold at Rs 397.18.
The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
NRB has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates quoted by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
