KATHMANDU: Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa has been appointed Vice Chancellor (VC) of Tribhuvan University.
Prime Minister Balendra Shah, who also serves as the university’s Chancellor, appointed Prof. Dr. Thapa to the post on Friday.
An engineer by profession, Prof. Dr. Thapa previously served as Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University. During his academic career at the university, he rose through the ranks from lecturer to Dean, Registrar and ultimately Vice Chancellor.
