Oli makes first public appearance since House of Representatives election

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday made his first public appearance since the House of Representatives election held in March.

Oli appeared at a national workshop on “Membership Renewal and Expansion Motivation” organized by the CPN-UML in Baber Mahal, Kathmandu, where he formally inaugurated the two-day event.

His appearance drew significant attention within political circles, as he had not attended any public program since the parliamentary election.

The workshop has brought together party leaders and organizational representatives from across the country to discuss strategies for renewing memberships, expanding the party’s support base, and strengthening organizational structures at various levels.

UML leaders said the event aims to energize the party’s membership campaign and reinforce its organizational network nationwide.

Oli’s return to the public stage comes at a time when political developments and internal party activities are gaining momentum, making his appearance a closely watched event among party cadres and observers alike.
