NRB fixes foreign currency exchange rates for Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.13, while the selling rate is Rs 152.73.

Similarly, one European euro is set at Rs 177.19 for buying and Rs 177.88 for selling. The British pound sterling stands at Rs 204.90 for buying and Rs 205.70 for selling, the central bank said.

For other major currencies, the Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.26 (buying) and Rs 109.69 (selling), while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 109.83 (buying) and Rs 110.25 (selling).

The central bank has stated that these rates can be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and updated information is available on the bank’s official website.
