President authenticates ordinance amending Nepal Acts



KATHMANDU:  President Ramchandra Paudel has authenticated an ordinance to amend various Nepal Acts.

The ordinance titled “Some Nepal Acts Amendment Ordinance, 2083” was issued on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers in accordance with Article 114 (1) of the Constitution.

According to a statement issued by the Office of the President, spokesperson Ritesh Kumar Shakya said the ordinance has come into effect from Sunday.

The President’s Office stated that the ordinance was introduced as per constitutional provisions to amend necessary legal arrangements.
