NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 151.56 and the selling rate is Rs 152.16.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 178.16 and the selling rate is Rs 178.86. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 206.39, while the selling rate is Rs 207.21. The Swiss franc is priced at Rs 194.28 for buying and Rs 195.05 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 109.09 and the selling rate is Rs 109.52. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 111.74 for buying and Rs 112.18 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 119.09 for buying and Rs 119.57 for selling.

Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.68 and the selling rate is Rs 9.72. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.20 for buying and Rs 22.28 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 40.41 (buying) and Rs 40.57 (selling), while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 41.59 and Rs 41.76, respectively.

Likewise, the Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.66 for buying and Rs 4.67 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at Rs 41.26 (buying) and Rs 41.43 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 38.18 and Rs 38.33, respectively.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.29 and the selling rate is Rs 10.33. The Swedish kronor is set at Rs 16.42 (buying) and Rs 16.48 (selling), while the Danish kronor stands at Rs 23.84 and Rs 23.94, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar is valued at Rs 19.34 for buying and Rs 19.42 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 494.08 (buying) and Rs 496.04 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 401.35 and Rs 402.94, and the Omani rial at Rs 393.64 and Rs 395.20, respectively. Meanwhile, 100 Indian rupees are set at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
