HoR polls: Bir Hospital forms rapid taskforce



KATHMANDU: The National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS)–Bir Hospital has formed a rapid response team in view of potential medical emergencies during the House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5.

According to Hospital Director Dr. Dilip Sharma, the 26-member team has been constituted considering possible health-related incidents that may arise during the voting period.

The team is coordinated by Dr. Suresh Prasad Nepal from the Emergency Department at Bir Hospital.

Similarly, a rapid action task force has been formed at Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa to respond to any medical emergencies during the March 5 HoR election.

The task force, coordinated by Dr. Madan Adhikari, includes Dr. Binod Khanal, Dr. Arif Husain, Dr. Ravi Shukla, Narayan Singh Koiri, Bhes Narayan Chaudhary, Ishwari Gyawali, Bandana Pangeni and Jankaraj Pant.

Bhim Hospital, located in Siddharthanagar Municipality-13, was established in 1990 BS.
