Gold price rises, silver declines in local market



KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased while silver declined in the local market on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 328,600 per tola today.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has been set at Rs 5,815 per tola.

Compared to Monday, the price of gold has increased by Rs 2,500 per tola, while silver has dropped by Rs 205 per tola.

On Monday, gold was traded at Rs 326,100 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 6,020 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is currently being traded at around $5,278 per ounce in the international market, while silver is priced at $95 per ounce.
