NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 146.06 and the selling rate at Rs 146.66.

The buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 171.28 and the selling rate at Rs 171.99. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 195.79 and sold at Rs 196.60, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 188.53 and sold at Rs 189.30.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 103.45 and the selling rate is Rs 103.88. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 106.93 and sold at Rs 107.37, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 114.85 and sold at Rs 115.33.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.31 and the selling rate at Rs 9.34. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 21.22 and sold at Rs 21.31. Likewise, one Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 38.91 and sold at Rs 39.07, and one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 39.96 and sold at Rs 40.13.

The buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.64 and the selling rate is Rs 4.66. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.76 and sold at Rs 39.93. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.19 and the selling rate is Rs 37.35.

Similarly, 100 South Korean won are being bought at Rs 10.02 and sold at Rs 10.06. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 16.02 and sold at Rs 16.09, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 22.93 and sold at Rs 23.02.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs 18.67 and the selling rate at Rs 18.75. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 477.79 and sold at Rs 479.75. Likewise, one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 387.20 and sold at Rs 388.61, and one Omani rial is being bought at Rs 379.13 and sold at Rs 380.69.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
