Balen Shah steps up campaign activities in Jhapa

KATHMANDU: Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balen Shah, has intensified his election campaign, focusing on grassroots-level engagement in Jhapa.

On Tuesday morning, Shah held discussions with ward chairpersons of RSP in Kamal Rural Municipality. He has also been meeting various local figures across different parts of Jhapa, listening to voters’ concerns and discussing local issues as part of his campaign outreach.

After completing a week-long visit to western Nepal, Shah had returned to Kathmandu. He has now headed back to Jhapa to continue election-related activities ahead of the March 5 House of Representatives election.

Party leaders say Shah’s campaign is centered on direct interaction with voters and understanding region-specific problems rather than large-scale rallies.
