Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.63, while the selling rate is Rs 152.23.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.78 and the selling rate at Rs 176.48. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 205.30, while the selling rate is Rs 206.11. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 187.23 for buying and Rs 187.97 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 108.32, with a selling rate of Rs 108.75. The Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.32 for buying and Rs 109.75 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 119.09 for buying and Rs 119.56 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.47, while the selling rate is Rs 9.51. Similarly, one Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.56 for buying and Rs 22.64 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.39 for buying and Rs 40.55 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.60 for buying and Rs 41.76 for selling.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.56 and the selling rate is Rs 4.58. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.29 for buying and Rs 41.45 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.54 for buying and Rs 37.69 for selling, while 100 South Korean won is fixed at Rs 11.04 for buying and Rs 11.08 for selling.

The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.81, while the selling rate is Rs 15.87. Similarly, one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.52 for buying and Rs 23.61 for selling.

The central bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.34 and the selling rate at Rs 19.41. The Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 493.67 for buying and Rs 495.62 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 402.17 for buying and Rs 403.77 for selling, while the Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 393.84 for buying and Rs 395.40 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. The rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those set by the central bank. Updated exchange rates will be available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
