KATHMANDU: Police have arrested former CPN-UML lawmaker Laxmi Mahato Koiri in connection with the Thaman B.K. murder case.
Koiri was arrested from Gaushala in Mahottari district, according to police.
Although the Mahottari District Court had acquitted him in the case, the Janakpur High Court on Wednesday overturned the verdict and sentenced him to five years in prison.
