KALIKOT: Raskot Municipality in Kalikot district has distributed social security allowances directly to beneficiaries at their doorsteps.
Municipal officials visited recipients, including senior citizens and persons with disabilities, to hand over the allowance payments.
According to the municipality’s Social Development Section Chief Hukum Shahi, a total of 122 beneficiaries received their allowances, including 45 from Ward No. 6, 25 from Ward No. 7, 18 from Ward No. 8, and 34 from Ward No. 9.
Shahi said the municipality has partnered with a commercial bank to facilitate doorstep delivery of social security allowances, aiming to make the service more accessible and convenient for recipients, particularly those with mobility challenges.
