Mechi Customs collects over Rs 13.14 billion in revenue



BHADRAPUR: The Mechi Customs Office has collected Rs 13.14 billion in revenue by the end of Chaitra in the current fiscal year 2082/83 BS, achieving 69.83 percent of its annual target.

According to Information Officer Ishwar Kumar Humagain, the office has set a target of Rs 18.87 billion for the fiscal year. In Chaitra alone, it collected Rs 1.60 billion, which is 94.69 percent of the monthly target.

Revenue collection stood at Rs 1.26 billion in Shrawan, Rs 1.36 billion in Bhadra, Rs 1.52 billion in Asoj, and Rs 1.30 billion in Kartik.

Similarly, the office collected Rs 1.36 billion in Mangsir, Rs 1.58 billion in Poush, Rs 1.47 billion in Magh, and Rs 1.65 billion in Falgun, according to official data.
