NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 151.44, while the selling rate is Rs 152.04.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 175.66 and the selling rate is Rs 176.36. The UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 201.60 and a selling rate of Rs 202.40. The buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 191.09, while the selling rate is Rs 191.85.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 105.21 and a selling rate of Rs 105.61. The Canadian dollar is valued at Rs 108.98 for buying and Rs 109.42 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 118.08 for buying and Rs 118.55 for selling.

Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.55 and the selling rate is Rs 9.59. One Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 22.03 for buying and Rs 22.12 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 40.35 for buying and Rs 40.51 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 41.54 and Rs 41.70, respectively.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.66 and a selling rate of Rs 4.67. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs 41.24 for buying and Rs 41.40 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.61 and Rs 37.76, respectively.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.06 and the selling rate is Rs 10.10. The Swedish krona is valued at Rs 16.13 for buying and Rs 16.19 for selling, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.51 and Rs 23.60, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 19.51 and a selling rate of Rs 19.40. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 493.69 for buying and Rs 495.65 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 401.11 and Rs 402.70, respectively. The Omani rial is valued at Rs 393.40 for buying and Rs 394.96 for selling. Meanwhile, 100 Indian rupees have been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
