Case against RSP chief Rabi Lamichhane listed at Supreme Court

KATHMANDU: The case against RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane has been scheduled for hearing at the Supreme Court.

The hearing pertains to a writ petition filed against the Attorney General’s Office’s decision to reinstate the passport misuse case against Lamichhane. The case has been listed for Monday before a bench of Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Nrip Dhwaj Niraula.

Lawyer Yubaraj Safal filed the writ on April 3, 2023, challenging the decision of then Attorney General Dinamani Pokharel not to proceed with the case, calling it illegal and against the law. The case is listed as the 12th item on Monday’s schedule, but it is not yet confirmed whether it will be heard on the same day.
