National Assembly meeting scheduled for today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly, under the Federal Parliament, is meeting today. The meeting is scheduled to be held at Singha Durbar at 1:15 pm.

According to the agenda, Chairperson of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, Maya Prasad Sharma, will table the Study Report on the Immigration Act, 2049 and Delegated Legislations Formed under the Act–2082 in the House.

Similarly, Chairperson of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, Kamala Pant, will present a proposal seeking discussion on the Study Report on the National Integrity Policy–2082.

In addition, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal will present proposals seeking approval of three ordinances: the Ordinance to Amend the Voter List Act, 2073–2082, the House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance–2082, and the Nepal Special Service Act (Second Amendment) Ordinance–2082.
