KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom has restored three additional sites affected by the Bhotekoshi flood, bringing the number of operational sites to 113 out of 120 affected sites.
The company said the Kalleri site in Dhading and the Bhadratar Thaprek and Pusantar sites in Nuwakot resumed operations on Tuesday.
Services from the Kalleri site will benefit customers in Adamghat, Pipalatar, Sunaulabazar, Ghumaune Danda, Kalleri and Beltar, among other areas.
The Bhadratar Thaprek site will provide services to Panchakanya, Thaprek, Mahakali, Samundradevi and Ralukadevi, while the Pusantar site will serve areas including Pipalatar, Devighat, Majhigaun, Sirkhali and Bhuvaneshwari.
With the restoration of the three sites, Nepal Telecom said network access has been restored to all areas that previously had coverage among the flood-affected locations.
The company said sites currently operating at partial capacity in affected areas are also being gradually restored to full capacity.
