Six Nepalis still in war-hit Iran

KATHMANDU: Six Nepali nationals are still in Iran, which has been facing Israeli and US attacks for the past two days, the government said on Sunday.

At a press conference, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal confirmed that six Nepalis remain in Iran.

Joint Secretary Ramkaji Khadka informed that out of 10 Nepalis previously in Iran, four have already returned home, while six are still there.

The government had earlier issued a travel advisory regarding Iran. Khadka said the ministry has been continuously monitoring the situation of Nepalis in Iran and the wider Middle East following the escalation of conflict in the region.
