DAMAK: The CPN-UML has brought ward-level election mobilization offices into operation in all 10 wards of Damak Municipality under the Jhapa constituency-level House of Representatives election mobilization committee.

With the offices now operational, UML cadres will visit voters door-to-door to urge them to vote for the party. Election Mobilization Committee Coordinator Devendra Dahal said the party has already begun outreach efforts, including organizing gatherings to campaign for party chair and Jhapa-5 candidate KP Sharma Oli.

Dahal said all election-related activities within Damak Municipality will be conducted through these ward-level offices, which were formally launched on Sunday.

He said responsibilities have been assigned involving ward committee coordinators as well as central committee office-bearers and members residing in the respective wards, along with provincial, district and municipal committee officials and members.

Similarly, office-bearers and members of sister organizations, senior party cadres and experts from the concerned wards will be involved in preparing daily plans at the offices.

Through these offices, daily party programs will be implemented and door-to-door campaigns facilitated in coordination with ward-level neighborhood committees. Earlier, ward-level election mobilization committees comprising a minimum of 151 and up to 501 members had already been formed.

Dahal added that once the ward contact offices are established, plans will be formulated there to manage all party activities in the respective areas.
