Ballot papers printed for 18 constituencies in 15 districts



KATHMANDU: Printing of ballot papers for the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system for the upcoming House of Representatives elections, scheduled for March 5, has been completed.

According to the Election Commission, ballot papers for 18 constituencies across 15 districts have so far been printed at Janak Education Materials Limited in Bhaktapur. The printed ballot papers cover FPTP elections in Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla, Salyan and Jajarkot.

Similarly, ballot papers have been printed for Dailekh constituencies 1 and 2, Surkhet constituencies 1 and 2, Rukum Paschim, Bajura, Achham constituencies 1 and 2, Kailali constituency 1, Jhapa constituency 5, and Sunsari constituency 1.

Earlier, the Commission had printed 20.083 million ballot papers for the proportional representation (PR) system.
