At a programme organised on the occasion of 13th Nepali National Attire Day and the International Topi Day-2082 organised by the National Heritage Conservation Foundation in the federal capital on Thursday, Minister Kharel expressed the belief that the campaign of promoting national identity would get government’s support.

He said, “The government is committed to promoting nationality. The national flag is the symbol of national unity that connects all Nepalis. It is our pride and we have huge respect on it. Let’s actively involve to preserve the identity of being Nepali.” Minister Kharel argued he was in support of the campaign for allowing government recognition to the national attire and observe it as a celebration. “All should involve to preserve the national attire,” he mentioned.
