KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the partial influence of westerly winds, according to the Weather Forecasting Division. Foggy conditions are expected in most areas of the Tarai region.
Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with mountainous areas, are likely to see partly cloudy weather. Light rainfall and snowfall are also forecast at a few locations in the high hills and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
The weather service has advised concerned sectors to remain cautious, particularly in road and air travel, due to foggy and cloudy conditions.
In the Kathmandu Valley, the minimum temperature recorded this morning was 5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 17 and 18 degrees Celsius today.
