Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.62 and the selling rate at Rs 142.22.

Similarly, one European euro is being bought at Rs 164.39 and sold at Rs 165.08, while one British pound sterling is being bought at Rs 186.73 and sold at Rs 187.52. The buying rate for one Swiss franc stands at Rs 177, with the selling rate at Rs 177.75.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 92.93 and the selling rate is Rs 93.32, while one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 101.37 and sold at Rs 101.80. Likewise, one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 108.97 and sold at Rs 109.43. The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.20 and the selling rate is Rs 9.24. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.91 and sold at Rs 20.00.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 37.76 and the selling rate is Rs 37.92, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 38.85 and sold at Rs 39.02. The central bank has set the buying rate for one Thai baht at Rs 4.37 and the selling rate at Rs 4.38.

One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 38.56 and sold at Rs 38.72, while one Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 33.72 and sold at Rs 33.86.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.90 and the selling rate is Rs 9.94. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.03 and sold at Rs 15.10, and one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 22.01 and sold at Rs 22.11. The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.23 and the selling rate is Rs 18.31.

Likewise, one Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 462.06 and sold at Rs 464.01, one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 375.67 and sold at Rs 377.27, and one Omani rial is being bought at Rs 367.82 and sold at Rs 369.38.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank stated that these rates may be revised at any time if necessary, and that commercial banks may have slightly different rates.
