HETAUDA: The Bagmati Provincial Assembly meeting is being held today at 2:00 pm.
Ram Kumar Poudel, Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, informed that a bill to make arrangements for the management and control of the provincial-level lottery is likely to be presented during the meeting.
He added that the bill is currently under discussion in the thematic committee and is expected to be presented to the Provincial Assembly once finalized by the committee.
Similarly, in today’s meeting, Speaker Bhuwan Kumar Pathak is likely to propose changes to the members of various thematic committees under the Provincial Assembly and read letters received from various bodies, said Secretary Poudel.
Meanwhile, a Business Advisory Committee meeting has been scheduled for 11:00 am today to decide the agenda for the Provincial Assembly meeting.
