KATHMANDU: Heavy rainfall is expected at one or two locations in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces today.
Moderate rainfall is also likely in some parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as a few areas in the hilly and Tarai regions of other provinces, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
With an influx of moisture-rich air from the Arabian Sea, the weather will remain generally cloudy across the country today and tonight.
Later tonight, moderate rainfall may occur in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with a few spots in the remaining hilly and Tarai regions.
There is also a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Sudurpaschim, the Division added.
