Kaligandaki road blocked by landslides



GULMI: A landslide has completely obstructed the Kaligandaki road section following a massive rockfall on Thursday morning.

According to the District Police Office, the landslide occurred between Gargare and Muluk areas of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, blocking the road entirely.

Ganga Bahadur Saru, the spokesperson of the District Police Office, said that security personnel from the Purtighat Police Post were immediately deployed to the site upon receiving the report.

Efforts to clear the debris and reopen the road are currently underway.
