Nepal Rastra Bank publishes today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 139.58, while the selling rate is Rs 140.18.

The euro is trading at Rs 160.94 (buying) and Rs 161.63 (selling), and the UK pound sterling at Rs 186.49 (buying) and Rs 187.29 (selling). The Swiss franc is valued at Rs 173.07 for buying and Rs 173.81 for selling.

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is priced at Rs 90.58 (buying) and Rs 90.97 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 101.22 (buying) and Rs 101.66 (selling), and the Singapore dollar at Rs 108.26 (buying) and Rs 108.73 (selling).

SImilarly, in Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are trading at Rs 9.42 (buying) and Rs 9.46 (selling), while the Chinese yuan stands at Rs 19.44 (buying) and Rs 19.52 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs 37.21 (buying) and Rs 37.37 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs 38.29 (buying) and Rs 38.46 (selling).

Likewise, the Thai baht is trading at Rs 4.30 (buying) and Rs 4.31 (selling), and the UAE dirham at Rs 38.16. The Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 32.92 (buying) and Rs 33.06 (selling), while 100 South Korean won are priced at Rs 10.09 (buying) and Rs 10.14 (selling).

The buying rate for the Swedish krona is Rs 14.45 and the selling rate is Rs 14.51, while the Danish kroner stands at Rs 21.57 (buying) and Rs 21.66 (selling).

The Hong Kong dollar is trading at Rs 17.78 (buying) and Rs 17.86 (selling). The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 456.95 (buying) and Rs 458.91 (selling), while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 370.24 and the Omani rial at Rs 362.54 (buying) and Rs 364.09 (selling).

For regional currency, the rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).

The central bank noted that these rates are subject to change based on market dynamics and may differ slightly from the rates offered by commercial banks. The latest rates are available on NRB’s official website.
