HoR informed about five bills endorsed by NA



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has been informed about five different replacement bills endorsed by the National Assembly today.

HoR Secretary Harka Raj Rai informed the lower house about the message sent by the National Assembly regarding the passage of five bills that originated in the HoR.  The NA passed the bills without amendment.

The message sent by the NA regarding the bills—Bill designed to amend some Nepal Acts related to Promotion of Good Governance and Delivery of Public Services, 2081, Bill designed to amend some Nepal Acts related to Cooperatives, 2081, Bill related to Economic Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment), 2081, Privatization Bill  (First Amendment), 2081 and Bill designed to amend some Nepal Acts relating to Improving Economic and Business Environment and Promoting Investment, 2081, was tabled in the meeting.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, on the behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, presented the 65th annual report (2080/2081) of the Public Service Commission and 6th annual report (2080/81) of Madheshi Commission at the HoR meeting today.

The HoR will meet next at 11:00 am tomorrow.
