Muslim community celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr with prayers and festivities (In pictures)



KATHMANDU: The Muslim community in Kathmandu celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr today, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The festival, observed on the last day of Ramadan according to the Hijri calendar, was celebrated with prayers, gatherings, new clothes, and the exchange of sweets.

In Kathmandu, large congregations gathered at the Kashmiri Jama Masjid in Ghantaghar and other mosques across the country to offer prayers. Devotees embraced each other and exchanged warm greetings, symbolizing unity and joy.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a time of gratitude and togetherness, as families and friends come together to celebrate after a month of fasting and devotion.
