Gold price hits new record

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal continues to soar, reaching an all-time high of Rs 177,900 per tola on Monday.

This marks an increase of Rs 1,100 from Sunday’s price of Rs 176,800 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

The rise in gold prices is driven by multiple factors, including increasing international rates, a strengthening US dollar, and domestic market dynamics. In the international market, gold is currently being traded at approximately $3,114 per ounce.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 10, reaching Rs 2,035 per tola.

With gold prices breaking records daily, traders and investors are closely monitoring the market for further fluctuations.
