KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been scheduled for 11:00 AM today (Monday).

Sunday’s session faced obstruction as lawmakers from ruling parties called for the meeting to proceed, while opposition lawmakers continued their protest. Due to the persistent disruption, Speaker Devraj Ghimire decided to postpone the session.

Opposition lawmakers have been obstructing parliamentary proceedings, demanding that the Prime Minister address the House regarding the government’s decision to replace Kulman Ghising with Hitendra Dev Shakya as Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
