Westerly winds bring cloudy weather



KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the influence of westerly winds, resulting in partly to generally cloudy weather in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, while the rest of the country remains clear.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported foggy conditions in several parts of the Terai.

According to the Department, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi Province this afternoon, with clear skies in other parts of the country.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of both Koshi and Karnali Provinces, while the rest of the country remains clear.

The Department has also forecasted the possibility of fog in many places across the Terai on Saturday morning and has urged the public to stay alert, as it may impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation.
