Kathmandu sees decline in minimum temperature on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley today recorded during the initial measurement was lower than that of yesterday (Monday).

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 5.2 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am today. At the same time yesterday, the temperature was 5.5 degrees Celsius.

However, the temperature dropped further at 8:45 am on Monday, with the official minimum temperature settling at 5.2 degrees Celsius.

Today’s official minimum temperature will also be determined at 8:45 am. There is a possibility that the temperature recorded at 5:45 am today may decrease further by then.

The Division measures minimum and maximum temperatures across various locations in the country, including Kathmandu, on a daily basis. The minimum temperature is recorded at 8:45 am, while the maximum temperature is measured at 5:45 pm.

The lowest temperature recorded in a day is referred to as the minimum temperature, while the highest is known as the maximum temperature.
